C. John Edwards is a solicitor with many years of experience in Family and Civil law.
John was born and educated in Coventry and graduated from University College London with an honours degree. After training in Coventry he has worked as a solicitor mostly in West London but also in Kingston-on-Thames and Aldershot. John worked for a number of years as a partner in Myers Ebner and Deaner Solicitors in Hammersmith. He has had experience of all types of litigation civil and criminal ultimately being Myers Ebner and Deaner’s supervisor in Family and Housing law.
Since coming to Ziadies in November 2005 he has specialised in Family Law and is now the supervisor of the Family Law Department.His recent work has included divorce, financial matters, private and public children work and injunction work.He was a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel for some 7 years and has been a Resolution accredited specialist for 2 years.John also supervises Ziadies’ Civil Litigation work.Throughout his career he has worked both for private and publicly funded clients.He is and has been for over 10 years a member of the Legal Services Review Committee which hears legal aid appeals.
John has been married for over 30 years to his long suffering wife Janet.He tells every-one he is an expert in non-league football and most Saturday afternoons can be found watching his team Kingstonian of whom he is a proud patron.He is also a self –confessed Dr Who and Blakes 7 fanatic and sci-fi comic collector but tells us he still manages to live in the real world!
